YHF Annual Historic HomeTour
Sunday, August 21, 2005 from Noon to 5 p.m.
A self-guided tour of seven properties in the city includes the delightful 1950s home of Maxe and Terry Obermeyer filled with stunning collections, art, and antiques; the West Michigan Lofts, a nineteenth-century building transformed into twenty fabulous apartments (a selection will be open for the tour); two nineteenth-century Italianates; a 1926 Dutch Colonial; a 1940s neoclassical ranch house; and Bombadill’s Neighborhood Coffee House. 

Tickets are $8 in advance in Ypsilanti at Norton’s Flowers & Gifts, and at Quinn’s Essentials in Depot Town; and in Ann Arbor at Downtown Home & Garden. Tickets are $10 day of tour at the booth in front of the Ypsilanti Historical Museum,  220 N. Huron, and Haab’s Restaurant, 18 W. Michigan.  The tour takes place on the final day of the annual 3-day Ypsilanti Heritage Festival.
